Nice hotel at a reasonable price. When looking for places to stay saw several other for much more that were not half as pleasant.

Good for overnight airport stay

Cons: "Hilton Terminal 5" implies it is on airport property. It is not. Need bus or taxi. change website please.
Worked well for overnight airport stay. Good café, early morning coffee, excellent facility.

Very nice hotel, fantastic breakfast buffet

We just spend one night at this hotel with wife and two daughters, preparing to catch a flight home to U.S. out of Heathrow. We are very picky about hotels and this is a VERY nice hotel, clean, plush carpets, nice bedding, etc. The beds are comfortable but a little on the harder side, but that seems to be typical of beds in European hotels. I like softer beds, but this was still a very comfortable bed. Best breakfast buffet I've ever had in a hotel, and I've been in a lot of hotels--great food. Wish I could have tried their Indian restaurant for dinner!

Great airport hotel... New rooms in good condition. Very comfortable beds. Staff are very helpful. Close to heathrow terminal 5 and great value for money! Would definitely recommend!

Don't stay here on a Friday night!

I reserved two rooms at the T5 Hilton for a Friday night stay with my family, in anticipation of an early Saturday morning start. While the hotel is undoubtedly nice and well appointed, I was very disappointed to find that a wedding reception had been booked immediately beneath rooms numbered in the 250's and 260's, and proceeded to play loud music until 1am, which reverberated throughout the building, making it impossible for light sleepers such as myself to get any rest until the event finished. The night porter to whom I complained was unable or unwilling to address the situation by requesting that the music be turned down at a reasonable hour. Clearly the hotel has been built cheaply, without adequate isolation between function rooms and bedrooms, and priority is given to event bookings, over guests paying an arm and a leg for a night's rest. Another peeve is the sheer expense of getting from the hotel to the terminal. Whereas other countries such as the USA typically provide a free bus service for such transfers, Rip-off Britain naturally charges five pounds per person for an eight minute bus ride, adding fifty pounds to the cost of a night's stay for a family of five! Would not stay here again.

This hotel is not on Heathrow airport property

Pros: Room was large and clean
Cons: Don't advertise this hotel as being at Heathrow Terminal 5
Very nice hotel that was advertised as being at Terminal 5 of Heathrow. Not the case, had to pay 5 pounds per person for a shuttle to the hotel which is nearly 15 minutes away from Heathrow. The hotel and room was very nice and reception staff worked hard when 8 people from the shuttle arrived at the same time to check in.
