"So spacious! Came with everything we needed! This is the second time I've stayed here. We booked a one-night stay for 4 adults in one room. My parents stayed in the bedroom, and my husband and I shared the pull-out sofa. He slept on the main portion, while I slept on the lounger section. The ottoman added just enough length for my legs.
I will try to save you a trip to the garage. Park at the front entrance to check in, drop off luggage, and travelers who don't want to walk too far. Parking is in a separate building next door. Embassy Suites guests have to park on Floor 3 and above. I didn't know that until after we checked in. Also, FYI - parking is extra everywhere in Downtown Austin. We Uber-ed everywhere we needed to go for only $10-$15 per ride.
We arrived just before Happy Hour ended. Just enough time to unwind with a glass of wine and a small plate of cheese and crackers. The atrium area is beautiful. After the concert, my parents went to bed, and my husband and I sat downstairs to just relax by the water features. There were plenty of people coming and going, but everyone was respectful.
The best, BEST part of Embassy Suites is their breakfast buffet! We each got a fresh omelet, made-to-order. In the hot plates they had plentiful amounts of sausage, bacon, country potatoes, scrambled eggs, and Belgian waffles. You might have to ask one of the servers for syrup. Fresh cut fruit - honeydew, cantaloupe, and grapes that day. And, of course, hot, fresh coffee!"
