Room #3 is cramped, with a poor air conditioning window unit in the bedroom. The wall paper is bulging and separating. Cleanliness was poor. A towel bar had been moved in the bathroom with ugly patching and no painting of the prior site. The bed was not very comfortable. Perhaps the other rooms are nice, but #3 was horrid.

Requested early check-in and received confirmation via email. Called morning of to re-confirm and the early check-in request was never noted. Room was not ready until regular check-in time. Front desk staff was not very welcoming and overall off putting. Our housekeeper was very pleasant and welcoming though and did her best to quickly finish preparing the room for our early check-in. Parking was nearby which was convenient but loading/unloading of luggage was not as there is no real place to do so. There was construction in the Suite next to ours which made our balcony area unusable. The old/historic charm of the inn was one of its saving graces, and the location is unbeatable. Would not book another stay at Casablanca Inn.

Our guest's comfort is our top priority and it looks like we may have let you down a bit. While we do our best to accommodate guest requests for early check-in, it depends entirely on when the previous guests check out, typically 11 and our staff's ability to do a change over in the very brief 4 hours before check-in time. We have 22 unique rooms which makes it nearly impossible to shuffle guests to available or housekeeping-ready rooms. We do apologize for our construction, however you may not have realized that your balcony was a short walk away from that area overlooking the bay.
