Lots of homeless people hanging around. The room just plain sucked, and the lock on the door barely worked. The guy working the front desk was very nice and he gave me several keys to try.

The facility is in a "long in the tooth" part of town, and the motel fit right in. It was old and haggard looking. Of the three office staff I encountered in my stay, two acted as if they couldn't care less. In the small room there were NO ammenities, except for two very small pieces of soap. The size of the TV fit the size of the room.The "fan" in the bathroom was annoyingly loud. The bed was not comfortable. The only plus for me was that the room was quite clean.

I should have looked before checking in. The place is a kip. Buckled flooring, broken tiles, the whole property is filthy. The rooms toward the back of the building seemed to have an inordinate level of activity. Then I recalled the two young women I encountered in the lobby, who I saw go into two different rooms down that way. It explained why the hotel host, when I asked for a room back away from the street frontage, told me he only had one and, "I don't think you would like it." I finally snapped and decided I needed to find somewhere else to stay. The refund had better hit my bank soon.

The door to the room was not latched when the door was opened, and would not stay closed without slamming. There were homeless wandering in the parking lot, and others wandering talking to themselves, and a extremely strong pot smell. At 11:30 pm, while we were sleeping, the room behind us started extremely loud music. We called the front desk several times, and finally got a response that they would check on the noise. The music continued and called the front desk again several times before we got a response, and they said there was no loud music and started to yell at my wife. My wife asked that the front desk person come to the room and they refused. I suspect that they did not leave the office to check on the complaint. We then packed our luggage and loaded our vehicle to leave and went to the front office to check out. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude again, telling us that there was no loud music, and yelling at us for complaining. We asked for our money back and she refused. We have opened a dispute with our credit card company to get a refund.

I booked this hotel for it had a pool. 104 when I got in and pool was closed due to maintenance issues. Im an older lady and a bit apprehensive for the area is very run down and clientele was a bit shady. I worried all night that my truck would be broken into. Not a place I would go again.
