Upon arrival I was told, despite having a prepaid reservation, the hotel was overbooked. I reserved a suite that sleeps 6. All that was available was a room with 1 queen bed and a pullout couch. I excepted the room simply because I had no time to attempt to find availability at another hotel. When I asked for linens for the pullout sofa I was given sheets and a thin blanket. I asked for pillows and was told they had none. The hallways reeked of marijuana and the place wasn’t very clean. I was told by the front desk staff that booking a prepaid room didn’t guarantee the room would be available on arrival. The staff were friendly, but everything else was horrible.

Great staff!

Pros: The staff.
Cons: The bedding.
Location: Georgia Tech is within 30 minutes.
The front desk staff was excellent. We felt like we were part of a group of friends or family. We voiced a concern over the drawers being dirty and someone was up within a 1/2 hour to clean them out. She also was super friendly and was happy to help. The bedding was not super comfortable, but the suite had 2 separate bedrooms with a kitchenette so is nice for a longer stay. I would stay here again. It was safe and there was a great restaurant at the mall 5 minutes away.

Nice family oriented hotel

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, family oriented, great staff, very clean, ultra comfortable
I stayed with my wife and two kids and we simply loved this hotel. Very nicely located close to many shops and restaurants (there is a great Cuban restaurant called Coco Cabana less than two miles away) and a great attraction like Stone Mountain (15 minutes away). The hotel is right next to interstate 285, which makes moving around Atlanta a breeze. Staff was great, very lovable. It has a nice pool with BBQ and party area, exercise and laundry room. Room has a little kitchen complete with stove, microwave, fridge and small appliances. Wired Internet access (no wifi available though), ultra comfortable beds and two TVs, one in the bedroom and another in the living room.

If You're Looking for a Loud Party.....

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy, very slow internet service
Can't recommend this hotel. First, the staff were great. They were very friendly and quick to resolve the problems I chose to report. 1. The tv only showed a blurry picture which was resolved by the manager adjusting the cable box. 2. I could not log onto the internet server with the supplied ethernet cable. There was no wireless service. This was resolved by the manager flipping the cable inputs from my computer to the box. 3. Which led to the extremely slow internet service. Pages that normally took seconds to load would take up to a minute. Downloading files of a few MB would take minutes. 4. Make sure you double check the refrig door. Many times I'd come back into the room to discover that the door had only partially sealed shut. 5. Good thing I didn't have anyone else over. Only one drinking glass was provided. 6. Had to buy Dawn to wash dishes and utensils. 7. Don't expect to take a relaxing bath. The drain stopper had a continuous leak. 8. You could hear TVs screaming from every room as you walked down the hall. Not to mention the loud TV from the adjoining room. Which may not have totally been their fault. When you turn the set on, the volume starts at level 60+. Level 10 was perfectly fine. Also, if you're having sensitive conversations, I suggest you not do it in the room as you can hear it in the adjoining room. 9. Make sure your watch or phone has an alarm as no clock is provided in the room. 10. The bed was very comfortable. 11. For the most part, the room was clean. The only exception was the water bottle left in the freezer and the Best Buy sticker left on the desk chair. 12. The staff was very good in providing good driving directions and stores near the area. While I can overlook a few things, I cannot stand loud noises. I expect better from a Marriott property and I will not return to this location.

Room did not get cleaned and no fresh towels each day.

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Poor breakfast
The room was not cleaned during the time we were there. We only got fresh towels once during our stay(5 nights).

I recommend the hotel

Pros: Quiet
Overall this was a good quality hotel. It is conveinent to shopping and restaurants. It is right off of a major highway which makes it easy to get to other areas. I was a little disapponted with the kitchen area of the room; it could use some updating. And the free breakfast could be better. Only small prepackaged items were provided.

Nice Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay - clean, roomy, pet friendly. I would suggest it for a small family or two people, as all rooms have queen beds and a sofa sleeper - the kitchenette was nice too. Breakfast was nothing great, but was free - mostly pre-packaged to go type items.

Great stay thanks to X!

We had to have snow clothing for Stone Mountain! The staff accepted it prior to our visit and kept it safe. In addition X was very kind and helpful each time we called to ask about our travels or reservations. When we arrived she promptly checked us in so we could make our 4pm time at Snow Mountain. X greeted us each time she saw us and made us feel right at home. There were 15 people total that rented rooms in our group. I wish there were more people like X at each Marriott we have stayed in!!! She is a great asset to your Company.
