Great location, cool property, comfortable rooms. The pool was cold because of wind (not their fault) and bar / restaurant shut down because of covid so the place just felt a little deserted (not their fault)

Property inside updated and looks great. Didn’t like that the north side door near main restrooms is almost impossible to open. Needs to be repaired.

I don’t know if I want the best kept secret in Camarillo out of the bag. We spent the day with family and enjoyed the fireworks at the high school across the street! Best 4th of July ever!!

Pay more, expect more.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Fire the maid who cleaned our room. Owner spend a little of my $300+ on caulking, carpet cleaning, softer beds, and new bathtubs.
Location: It was the closest I could get to Carpinteria on short notice (holiday weekend).
A bit pricy for what we got. Stayed at a Courtyard Marriott the night before in Burbank. Beds there were very nice and the room was clean. There was no mircrowave (it's been awhile since I've seen a room with a fridge and no microwave). This one in Camarillo was a hundred dollars more so I expected it to be at least as nice. Granted, it was older but I have issues with dirty bathtub bottoms. I thought that it just looked dirty because it was older. However, I could clean most of the dirty feet print with just a hand towel and water. Maids wonder why they don't get tips very often ( I tipped the maid the night before)? How hard is it to do a minimum cleaning effort, i.e., make the bathroom shine and most people are happy. The bed cover had mascara on it. The beds were hard (not their fault, blame goes to the owner). And, of course, a fridge with no microwave. I've seen a lot worse, but not for $300+.

Expensive food

The Marriott has an on site cafe, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner items. The options are limited and way overpriced.

Marriott usually does things right.

Pros: Food and beverage service in the lobby was a plus.
Cons: Room furniture and lighting. More coat hangers and space to hang things.
Location: We were there to attend a family wedding.
Not enough comfortable places to sit in the room. Lighting was okay but not really good for reading.

Chic, clean and very accommodating hotel!

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the clean and chic lobby of the Courtyard Camarillo. There are plenty of resturants and a Starbucks within a block of the hotel, so there is no need to drive for a meal or latte! There is also a fabulous bar/resturant with a great menu in the lobby and even an area for food, drinks and beer and wine that is available all night long! The staff was super nice and friendly too. Our rooms were clean and comfortable with new decor. They felt very uncluttered and classy. Great flat screen tv, balcony and refrigerator. Much more than I bargained for. The best part was the pool and the hot tub! I was extremely pleased and would go back anytime!!! Great for singles and families, my kids loved it too!
