With the understanding that this was a so-called non-refundable reservation, I contacted Travelocity on June 6 about the possibility of a refund, due to illness in my family cancelling this part of my trip. I was promised a response from the property in 24 to 72 hours. That response never came. It would have been at least polite to respond, even if the answer were negative.

I do apologize that no one got back to you. Even if we could not cancel or refund the reservation someone should of gotten back to you if we had a request to cancel. I thank you for bringing this to our attention so we don't make this error again.

Overall wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room appeared clean but later in the night we discovered ants coming out of the drain in the bathroom and they were all over the bathroom and sink area. The bed was comfortable and the fridge was a nice size. The checking in process wasn’t the best, the lady wasn’t friendly and was short with me.
