You're just two miles away from an artist colony where weekly artist markets take place. When you want to stay closer to home base, this property boasts a firepit, lush landscaping, and two furnished decks off of each level of the home with uninterrupted ocean views overlooking the west coast of Hawaii and Kona Town, known specifically as Kailua Kona.

Kona Family Vacation
The house itself is beautiful. It is in a quite neighborhood, remote from the busier Kona area. About a 15-20 minute drive to Kona area activities. It does not have air conditioning but since the house is up on a mountain side it was cool enough with the ceiling fans. A couple of rooms could have used extra fans. Our three biggest issues were that we literally only had two days of hot water.We contacted the company several times and we were told the water heater is set on a timer to turn on at4am, 12pm and 4pm. We shouldn't have to time our showers around those times, especially with a family of 11 who rented the entire house. The rest of the days we had to take cold showers. The downstairs bedrooms all had a mildew/musty smell. The hot tub is not convenient to get to and does not have proper lighting for when it gets dark. We were excited to use it but decided we did not want to be bitten up by mosquitoes. Don't think it was worth the amount we were charged.
