The large, open kitchen and dining area are a chef's delight - with large bar counters and a variety of dining areas - indoors and out. We booked this trip for a family vacation. The location was lovely. The response time from the host was quick. The property was beautiful and spacious. I loved the double washer/dryer.

A few hiccups, but still amazing
Check in proved a little difficult as the code for the auto gate was correct but the door was not. So had to wait a few minutes to check-in. My mom took a shower when we got there, but everyone else waited till the evening as we went into the water. None of us had any hot water other than my mom, and continued not to have hot water for about 24 hours, when Chris came and confirmed that the water heater was in disable mode. A heavy wooden oar on the wall also fell, luckily no one was around when it happened, especially the toddler that was with us. Even with those issues, it was a very lovely home and a great location. Would not hesitate to say again if given the opportunity, but hopefully things go a little smoother if there is a next time.

Hidden Gem
I am somewhat hesitant to write this review for fear others will find this amazing space. My husband, kids and extended family traveled to Oahu for a recent wedding. This house was above and beyond what we were expecting. Brad, our property manager was AMAZING!!! I hope owners and management continue to keep this house at a price point that allows large families to share in this wonderful experience. Bravo hale aloha, we hope to return soon!

Excellent Stay for 4 Couples!
Excellent location. Beautiful and clean home that is fully stocked. Quiet neighborhood. Incredible beach. Kailua is small and quaint with a Target and WholeFoods within a 5 minute drive. However, check-in was a mess...the codes needed to open the gates and doors did not work. We called AvantStay and they answered immediately but they had the same codes we did. The only way we got into the house that afternoon was by using the public beach access to enter the yard from the beach. Luckily, the cleaning staff accidentally left a sliding door unlocked and we entered the house through there. AvantStay had someone out the next morning to get the door codes straightened out and come to find out from the gardener that the gate that allows vehicle entry has never worked and we had to operate it manually for the remainder of the stay - a minor inconvenience. Overall, I would love to stay here again and would highly recommend the home for couples or families. We had a fabulous stay with plenty of room and privacy for 4 couples. We made some incredible memories and strengthened the bonds of our friendship!
