Room was small, didn't look professionally cleaned, no soap or shampoo. They said because of Covid, no housekeeping service but they had housekeeping cleaning rooms after check out. Understaffed and Front desk and housekeeping NEVER answered phones, I tried caling several times so had to just walk to front desk any time we needed anything. Nothing special at this place. I wish I would have saved my money and booked elsewhere.

First off, the (indoor) lobby was completely full of people, most not wearing masks and the staff were too busy tending to the long line to even notice.The small pool was packed with people, so covid guidelines were not being followed by ensuring 6 feet of space between guests.  There were so many guests who didn't have chairs that they were lined up on towels on the ground.  I also didn't see any cleaning supplies available to clean the chairs once done using.  There was also a ton of people spread all over the grass and fire pit area around the pool and big groups, playing loud music. Our room was "clean" to low standards.  We had no towels and there were dead bugs stuck to the bathroom wall.  There was no indication that any high touch surfaces were cleaned extra like your covid policy states. There were no sheets, just a comforter.  There were crumbs all over the carpet. We immediately checked out and stayed down the street. When leaving we respectfully requested a full refund, as our reason for not staying was due to public health concern. The front desk said that they would refund us fully, but since we booked through Travelocity, the GM Nathan would have to do it, so we left our information and they said he would follow up with us. Fast forward weeks later, my wife and I have called and emailed multiple times with no refund or any contact from the hotel. Half of the time the hotel doesn't even pick up the phone and the manager's phone voicemail box is full.

The hotel looked great on line and it had really good reviews! However, when we arrived the room they gave us the wrong kind of room and the manager was impossible to get ahold of and refused a refund of the difference. The room was tiny and dirty. The “beach front” was 1/16th of a mile long and extremely over crowded. The food on site was not so great. They ran out of towels as well and advised us to check back every hour as they can’t send staff to rooms for turn down services or to deliver room items. Before you stay make sure to check the fees (if you can even get ahold of the front desk as it took us 2 days to finally get someone to call us back after check out) because they actually ON TOP of resort fees charge a fee per day for “wifi, parking and pool access” according to check out which is funny because that’s ALL listed as FREE on this site and their’s as well.

Very basic property. Hallways dirty with lots of con webs. Gym very basic machines. Bare gym, no water in the gym. Rooms were very basic. Bathrooms were terrible. Dated and old. Shower was an old plastic shower liner from like the 80s. Not sure how clean it was so showered with flip flops. Shower head not adjustable and dropped on one side. One of the pillows had some kind of smear on it maybe from old lipstick? Pros: central location, private beach. If you love dogs it’s great because lots of people had their dogs with them. If you don’t, their beach is not for you. Overall, it’s ok but we won’t be staying again. I would rather stay somewhere more updated and cleaner. Oh and there’s a $28 resort fee. Seems ridiculous since there’s nothing extra. For $28 you should at least have water in the gym.

Parking is a problem. No Microwave in rooms. Pool is small for all that stay there.
