I gifted my brother a room to stay for Christmas. Upon his arrival and check-in, he was told he could not use a prepaid card to pay for the deposit which I was never told there was. I had to make numerous phone calls and staff from both Travelocity and the hotel played the blame game. Finally I spoke with Brenda at the hotel and she advised me that I had to drive to the hotel and Pay for the deposit in person instead of accommodating me over the phone and excepting my payment for a deposit. This was both embarrassing and a hassle for me since I was busy for the holiday for my family’s arrival. I feel I deserve a refund for the deposit for the trouble I went through just for two night stay as a surprise for my brother. Especially with trying to figure out Through both Travelocity and the hotel who was at fault for not telling me there would be a deposit which I would’ve taken care of upfront. This room was booked a while back and it just amazes me that there was a problem upon my brothers arrival from Northern California. He waited almost 2 hours with his newborn baby and family to finally get his room. How unprofessional.

They charged 200 deposit and parking fees. Both which I was not made aware of until i arrived at the hotel. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel!
