This place was dirty and damaged upon arrival.
Communicated the condition of the home to the owner and did not receive a response. The inside of the property looks nice but so many issues that overshadow its potential: couch was damaged, WiFi was not working, the home has obviously has not been swept or cleaned in months, literal trash beneath the beds, beds were uncomfortable. Worst part about it all is there is a cleaning fee charged for this property when it is blatantly not maintained. Empty boxes were left on the ground outside, old food in the fridge, etc. It was disgusting. Holes behind the bathroom door (someone punched it apparently) and so much more.

Beware! Do not stay!!!!
This has to be the worst experience I have ever had.if I could leave 0 stars I would! First off do not stay here, the photos are deceiving. The home is absolutely filthy, the wall are disgusting, the house had not been swept or mopped, there was dirt everywhere. The couches were gross, they had not been vacuumed in god knows how long, the sheets in the bed smelled, they had not been washed, there was trash under the mattresses. Over all it’s smelled gross in there. Being currently 34 weeks pregnant and with a toddler it was unacceptable to stay there with the house as it was! And when the host was contacted in regards to this issue she didn’t even have the courtesy to respond or try to fix the situation! Completely ignored mine and vrbo’s attempts to contact them and to this day still hasn’t responded! Completely unprofessional! We requested a refund for at least one night since we were no longer able to stay there since the house was unacceptable and nothing was fixed. Vrbo has not helped at all and this will be the first and last time we ever use this app.This host should be ashamed deceiving and taking peoples money and charging a cleaning fee and not even cleaning!!!! Do not stay here!!!

Filthy House
On first arriva thel house looked just like photo. The neighborhood was not the best but was an easy access to freeway. Four of the five outside garbage cans were full of trash. The site says garbage day is Thursday and that is wrong. We were informed by neighbors it's friday afternoon/evening. Walking in the door a dirt filled welcome mat with dried grass is what you saw then you felt the heat. Walking in you could feel the dirty floors and see the numerous dirt marks on 95% of the walls. There was built up dust noticable at a glance on every floorboard. In the kitchen no trash bags were available to fill the filthy trash can. We used a bag from livingroom trash. There was only a sponge and half bottle of tiny dish soap to clean with. The refrigerator had crumbs and spills all in it. The freezer compartment had frozen blood left from what I'm assuming was a leaking meat package. In the bedroom on floor level the floors were sticky and bathroom had broken tissue holder so you had to sit the tp on top of toilet. The stairs were scattered with some gold and pink confetti disks. The bathroom door upstairs had a hole punch in it. There were 2 rooms with 2 beds each. One of the rooms had a bed that smelled of urine. Did not use it and took bedding from another bed to use. The bedding by the way consists of a fitted and flat sheet on every bed. Master bedroom smelled of sweat with one pillow that had a scent of sweaty sex. Throughout the house there were plug in air fresheners that were all used up(old) they should have been changed or thrown out. I took several pictures about 30 of all the damage filth and dirt so that I wouldn't be charged for it. I sent them all to the host. Her reply was they were aware of the damage. Hmmm? So you just didn't care to clean or fix it? There were only 4 towels for 6 people staying 6 days! When renting a vacation home you should enter into it not having to clean it. Only clean after yourself right? I cleaned all the bathroom mirrors and toilets,the refrigerator, and swept/ mopped!! The cleaning fee charged should be returned to me I feel. The house was filthy and still is for most part. I wasn't about to clean their dirty walls,floorboards, and in some spots of kitchen ceiling. I can say that the house inside is a nice looking house. We took and washed the bedding as it all had an unpleasant scent. The host was very quick in bringing a broom/mop, towels,pillows,&cleaning supplies after I sent pictures.

Never again!
This house is in the HOOD! The neighborhood is quiet but of you aren't from the hood then this will be a shock. We were concerned standing outside day 1. It is next door to a recovery house. The oven never worked. We were told to unplug it. The house wasn't clean. If you clean something there should have been cleaning products and scent that you could tell that the place had just been cleaned. There was only a drop of dish detergent to use. For our stay of 8 ppl we were given 4 towels/washcloths. The alarm went off 2x out of the blue. We were never given a code to set the alarm or to stop it for going off. The house is nice if it were in another area. We had no issues with the neighbors but hasld I known where we were staying I would have gotten something different. This house is literally between Watts and Compton. The gate to the house was a fight anytime we needed to leave. It was hard to lock and came off the track so much it was ridiculous. The key would get stuck. We spent so much wasted time on this. We cleaned up this house before we left and it was in better shape than we found it. We were outside when the cleaning ladies left. They didn't have anything in hand that made us believe they had cleaned. No Mop bucket, no paper Towels, no garbage bag, no vacuum, no pinesol or fabuloso. You get what you pay for and this was a lesson learned.

The property is a nice house.. HOWEVER, it’s located in the hood.. Upon arriving we walked into a stairs full of trash and a sticky floor. We thought that we would have access to the garage,but no.. The stove did not work. There is no washer or dryer . The sink was stopped up and garbage disposal did not work. The rugs in all 3 bathrooms need to changed. The yard had trash in it. There was a iron ,but no ironing board. They only supply 6 towels and we stayed a total of 4 nights. with 7 people staying…. They only have thin duvet covers on beds. 2 of the rooms had nowhere to put your things . So you had to live out of a suitcase. The house is nice , but the uo keeping is poor…

I have to say this house made our stay in LA the best. :) it’s perfect for Family, 1 bedroom downstairs , & 3 spacious rooms upstairs . The bathrooms are really nice so is the kitchen, family room and backyard. Also check in was Smooth and very Clear we had NO ISSUES!! :) would highly recommend others to book this listing. The private gate parking just gives it a plus ! Will book again
