Wonderful Stay!
I was a bit hesitant to book a room here due to some reviews I read. A majority of the negative reviews talked about how small the rooms are, how loud the surrounding area is, but we found this hotel to be extremely clean, comfortable & quiet! 10/10 for sure! My boyfriend & I booked a standard king room & it was adorable. We were only staying for 2 nights & planned on spending most of our time outside the room. Some people who left reviews complained about the rooms being super small but we thought it was perfect. They definitely utilized the space well. As far as noise, there really wasn't any. Day or night. We arrived on a Fri night & even with the room fan on I found it hard to sleep because the room was so quite. On Saturday night we did hear music coming from one of the near by clubs but it didn't rattle the walls or keep me from sleeping. It honestly helped me fall asleep. If you plan on staying here definitely check out the restaurants & bars on property. At check in, we were provided with $10 drink vouchers & used them at the bar in the lobby. They have a decent selection of spirits & with our vouchers our drinks came out to $9 each. The rooftop was parcially blocked off due to a private party but we did get to go up before the event started to take pictures & look at the Hollywood Sign. I can only imagine how busy the rooftop is during the summer. It's stunning! All in all The Godfrey is definitely a great stay & we will 100% stay here again!

Needs new toilets
Everything about this hotel is great, except the toilets. The design of the toilets is clearly a problem. They don't flush the contents. So, I had to flush the toilet 20+ times to get the contents to disappear. So, what is listed as a eco conscious experience is, in fact, a water wasteful one. It definitely detracted from my overall comfort and quality of experience. Otherwise, its location, amenities, staff, and design are stellar. Get the toilets right, and they would deserve five stars.
