Would never recommend this motel.

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: near beaches
Basic motel that's super noisy, unsafe area, thin walls - we could hear snoring in the room above us, tv in the room next to us, and the Pacific Coast Highway all night long. We couldn't sleep at all. We should have see the red flag warning of ear plugs next to the bed when we checked in.

Pros: We were going to an event at Pepperdine University so good location. Also, nice little garden above hotel.
Location: See above - near Pepperdine University, Cross Creek Country Market
The room was as bare as any hotel room I've been in, no lamps, dresser, the deadbolt lock on the entrance door and the lock on the sliding glass door to the patio were broken, the walls were super thin which meant noise from next door and from outside, and the room was not inexpensive, even through Travelocity. No one at desk after 10:00 pm so couldn't report loud noise from next door.

Great location, Great price

Pros: Good location, pet friendly
A very simple, clean room...... no frills but for $130 a night on Pacific Coast Highway in a great location you can't complain. Just don't go expecting it to be the Four Seasons, what you see is what you get.
