The tile floors in the doorway and bathroom were sticky. Otherwise all was good - polite and helpful staff.

I was surprised how dirty the bathroom was given this was 1 week after the re-opening of many facilities amidst the COVID virus. There was black mold on the tub/wall crease and the vent was filthy with black dust. There were many signs posted at checkin related to how they were taking extra steps to ensure cleanliness. I found them to be misleading. I shared my feedback with the front desk attendant and her response was "given COVID- we've had to just let the rooms sit". Not sure what she is referring to other than the fact that maybe the hotel chain wouldn't allow workers in them- which I completely understand. But I would have expected the hotel to designate a portion of the rooms to be deep cleaned in order to rent them out. I took photos and plan to send them to the GM with a follow up letter. I really think that hotels need to do better if they want to stay viable during COVID. I will not be returning to the LaQuinta anytime in the near future.

However, I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I apologize for any misunderstandings or misinformation. In lieu of current events, we do allow rooms to sit for at least 24 hours before having another guest in the same room. That is the only extent to which we have let rooms "sit." I have not received any pictures/emails from you but please rest assured that I have already taken the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent any future occurrences. We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
