Recently renovated home in Alameda island with a 15 minute ferry to SF. The lower level of this beautifully restored home in Alameda is a 15 minute walk to the Alameda Beach and Crown Memorial Park. Webster street is a 10 minute walk where you will find an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques. LOVED it!!
My friend and I stayed while visiting her son at Cal. The house is in a great location. Shops, restaurants are a short drive (or walk) away. It is also conveniently close to San Fransisco and Berkeley. The owner was VERY helpful and answered any questions we had quickly. The house itself is beautifully decorated, super clean and the bed is beyond comfy! Huge shower, built in refrigerator, and lots of windows. The charming backyard has rocking chairs to sit and enjoy all the trees, flowers and plants. If we go visit again, we will be back!!

Although the property itself was very well appointed, there were guests staying upstairs with small children, so the constant racket over my head, dragging furniture etc. was unpleasant. I wish I had known.,. I would not have stayed here..
