We stayed 2 nights at the La Quinta in Berkeley. Our room was very clean and very quiet. the bed was firm firm, but if you like that then it will be okay. We enjoyed having a microwave and fridge in our room. We also noticed that the shower is soft water, which was nice. The Inn is outdated with aging furniture and carpet. Don't stay here if those things bother you. However, if you like quiet and good parking and a good bed and a very clean room then choose this. It is great for the price. We will stay here again.

Receptionist is very unprofessional. I waited 10 mins before someone came out to help me. Restroom in the lobby out of service.
