Unwind in the hot tubs or book an appointment at the full-service spa. Extra on-site perks include an ice-skating rink, groomed cross-country ski trails, a fly-fishing pond, and a professional-grade golf course. Explore the scenic nature trail skirting the resort or the nearby Truckee River Bike Trail. 10 minutes away, gorgeous Lake Tahoe presents a picturesque setting for boating, rafting, and paddleboarding.

Great superbowl weekend trip. We love the ammenities at the resort, and the chairlift directly into Palisades.

Do not choose this place
We had prepared to come up and enjoy a weekend skiing at this property. Unfortunately, Highway Patrol closed the 80E and turned cars around with no ETA on reopening. I called Vacasa 5 separate times (and endured massive wait times) and were reassured by multiple customer reps that we would be refunded on this reservation given the road closures and lack of ability to check in--we had to send snapshots of the CalTrans website confirming that the road was in fact closed. We told the rep to cancel the reservation, assuming that they would deliver on the refund. This is only to find out that they went back on their word the next day and said that nothing would be refunded. They said that the customer service reps were misinformed and 'unfortunately there was nothing they could do to make the situation better.' We are highly disappointed and will not be doing business with Vacasa ever again. Please save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere with a company takes accountability for their own actions and does right by the customer.
