They wouldn’t check me in because they said I smoked in a prior stay in a non smoking room. Totally a lie. Then they override the block and didn’t have key fob for rooms. Terrible management.

No Key to enter Room - Unwelcoming staff !!!!
No Key to enter Room due to system outage, from check-in to check-out. Had to rely on staff to come open the door for every entry. Front desk was unapologetic at all about the gross inconvenience. Stern and ice-cold manners. No word of welcome. Not even "Hello". Just a one-word demand, "ID", when I asked for check-in. A really shocking experience.

Excelent customer service
We arrived around 3 pm in a weekday and the customer service of the desk attendant was proffesional, warm, and full of information. This was just a stop in a more longer trip and we got a good rest to continue driving early in the morning. So far, this motel located in Rancho MIrage must be one of the best motel 6s.

The stay was pleasant. The room looked clean but there was hair in my sink. The jacuzzi was nice and hot but the jacuzzi itself didnt look very clean. The beds were comfy and given the location of the facility it was very peaceful and quiet. My only suggestion would be to inform guests that only 2 bars of soap are offered during the stay. I showed up with zero toiletries not aware that Motel 6 had recently changed their policies. They need to disclose that on their booking info and at the time of check in. Moving forward i will be better prepared when staying at a Motel 6.
