The Mermaid’s Tale is an airy townhouse offering a newly renovated open concept living space downstairs including granite countertops, fully applianced kitchen and a cozy seating area leading to an outdoor dining patio with a Weber grill. Parking for 3 cars, propane tanks, beach chairs, and back yard space provided. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 Queen and 2 twins, and a full bath with a stackable W/D. Hi speed wifi, 2 TVs, and a variety of books available. Beautiful Goose Rocks Beach is steps away, while the Tides Beach Club is just around the corner. Shopping and a variety of dining options are a quick 10 minute drive to the Port (Kennebunkport), and 40 minutes to Portland.

Perfect Stay
Kathleen went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay and we really did. Our girls loved it and we were down the street from the beach and a short drive to the shops in the center. Highly Recommend

Wonderful stay at Mermaid's Tale
The location of Mermaid's Tale can't be beat, and was perfect for our family of four (two adults, a two year old and five year old). The unit was super clean and a quick walk to GRB and The Tides, and Kathleen was always quick to respond via text. She even helped us out with some rainy day suggestions for our kids! We can't wait to return next year.

Relaxing Getaway on Goose Rocks Beach
We had a fantastic Mother/Daughter Getaway at Mermaid’s Tale and definitely plan to return! The location was perfect, just steps away from beautiful and serene Goose Rocks Beach and a short drive to quaint Dock Square in town. The house was lovely! Spotless, cozy, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed and more! The owner Kathleen was wonderful and made the whole rental process effortless! We highly recommend Mermaid’s Tale and are looking forward to returning next summer!

Long weekend getaway
The Maine coast in the fall is beautiful. We could walk the beach or the surrounding neighborhoods filled with lovely homes. Located near shopping and restaurants but very comfortable place to hang in as well. We had everything we needed and our host Kathleen was very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Just down the street from the beach, very clean
We really enjoyed our time in the Mermaid’s Tale at Goose Rocks Beach. The unit is very clean, well equipped and enjoyable to stay in. We stayed for 6 nights with enjoying walks along the beach, fall activities and dining in various area restaurants (really liked the Chowder House in Cape Porpoise - best lobster we’ve had in a long while and reasonably priced too) The owner Kathleen was friendly and promptly answered our questions and issues. We will be returning next year!

The Perfect Getaway
Just steps from the beach and The Tides Beach Club, tucked into a quiet neighborhood, this unit is an absolute gem. Two friends and I were looking for a relaxing retreat for a long weekend and this was just the place. It was removed enough for solitude, with proximity to the beach, but a close drive to towns to shop, explore and dine. The owner was responsive and kind. We loved our stay!
