So so.
I'm not sure what makes a hotel 3 star, but the hotel Gibbs was a bit disappointing. Staff at the front desk were a bit slow and didn't give you that luxury feel when you walked in. There was no "welcome to the hotel Gibbs" vibe. The building itself had some cool components, but the bathroom in the room has rather shotty construction, in the "1909 tap room" was pitiful with no historical charm at all. The breakfast was the same meal served at generic hotels across the country. Most disappointing, the valet staff were not very helpful. They did not explain the price nor how it would work using the phone app. They were unable to pick up your car without using the phone app even when you were standing right there. The phone app should be an additional feature or not the sole mechanism for getting the car. If the price were cheap I would consider staying here again otherwise I'd look elsewhere.
