This stay was a overall disappointment. Came out for a weekend getaway for my girlfriend after she had completed her masters. We even our dog came!
Older place, which meant things have aged. Not a big deal. Expected that, but not when the hotel manager took the payment for our room upfront with no deposit. Also seemed fishy when the maintenance man referred to the other guests “tenants,” and was weird that the room had no telephone at all. However, we made the best of it by going to dinner
When we got back we were approached by an elderly woman coming out of her room that appeared to be drunk or on some sort of drugs. She approached us because her dog, which was off leash came running to ours. She started to talk to us about way too many personal things, but not a huge deal. We then realize that during this random conversation some person was chirping out of his/her hotel room at us which added a creepiness factor to this place that wasn’t settling well with us. We quickly ended our “interesting” conversation with the woman and her dog, and booked it into our room. After trying to figure what our next move was, we decided to stay the night and leave the next morning. Big mistake.
Later that night the person in the next room started playing loud music, and talking even louder. After an hour or so it stopped. Then... at 2 or 3 in the morning. The screaming and banging on walls started. Then there was banging on our door! Called the cops. Got our money back, and booked it!

Sadly, this motel is really bad. Dirty, bugs, broken screens, mold. Bugs in box spring protector. Stained sheets and walls. Had to go across the street for Raid. Feet were black from floors. No space to put stuff. Small shower. We moved to a new hotel first thing next morning. I should’ve asked for a full refund. I just wanted to get out of there.

So stinkin cute, and under rated
This place is a secret of san clemente! So cute, old school good service and room was a nice surprise. The only things that I would say is to focus on upgradi mg the bathrooms next, but its just because they are out dated. The staff were incredibly and sincerely friendly. I would stay here again..easy.

Decent little inn
Was a very cozy spot, close to downtown and the beaches. Very clean room and the staff were very nice. Will stay here again
