Solid stay overall
Pros: - wonderful location in Shelter Island, which provides great walking paths by the ocean - room was clean and provided views of the bay, as described - excellent customer service (for example, Mike kindly provided us hot water from the kitchen and tried to find us a place to work when Internet went down) Cons: - the room balcony was right by the adjacent room's balcony so privacy was a bit limited - during the weekend, it was busy and we could hear guests in the adjacent rooms - Internet went down for about 3/4 of a day (not sure if it was an area-wide outage) - no access to water boiler in the room

Awesome staff. We arrived early from a long trip. The staff offered to keep our luggage, but when they realized how tired we were, quickly found a room that was available early so we could rest. Beds were comfy, microwave and fridge in room made it easy to grab a quick bite.
