We were placed next to stairs and ice. There was also a bench outside our room. It was extremely loud day and night, especially the stairs since our headboard were next to the stairs. We heard everything.

Very comfortable and convenient stop in San Diego
Lovely, clean motel positioned between the airport and the Old Town. A 5 minute drive to the airport and a 10 minute walk to the Old Town State Park. It's a short walk to Old Town station and the railway line is close, so you'll probably want to pack some ear plugs (which I always do) as the Pacific Surfliner just loves to make its presence known. The bed was very comfortable, though there were a couple of minor maintenance issues in the room that were a little irritating. The breakfast was really poor and the staff serving it (supposedly) were disinterested and unhelpful but I'm assured they have plans to improve it. The pool area is really lovely - one of the best motel pools I have used and heated year round :-) Despite the breakfast, I would definitely stay here again if travelling via San Diego airport :-)

The reception clerk was extremely friendly. Our family had 3 rooms reserved here. She made sure our were close to each other which helped with planning our dining and leaving for the Marine graduation plans easier. Thank you.

Nice stay
It’s an older property, but it met my needs. The property is in an industrial area and it’s surrounded by drugged out homeless people. Old Town is within walking distance but it’s not safe to venture out on foot after dark.
