The rooms weren't necessarily dirty, but they were not kept up. There were scuffs on the doors and paint on the light switches from when they last painted the walls.

I paid through Travelocity for one night Oct 2nd (leaving Oct 3rd), and when we arrived at Valley Inn in Watsonville CA, the unhelpful desk clerk said our reservation was for Oct 1st instead. We showed him the reservation receipt/record on our phone with Oct 2nd (leaving Oct 3rd) but he said the reservation came to them as Oct 1st. !!?!! How do we get a Travelocity refund ASAP??? First, it was supposed to be a non-smoking room and the room smelled like smoke. Second, there was a beer box with a tied sock in the closet, which I didn't want to look at closely, so I gave it to the staff. Third, there are no chairs in the room. The only place to sit was on the bed! Fourth, there were scratches on the television screen. If this was a $50/night place, I'd be fine, but for well over $200/night I expect more attention to detail. I won't be staying there again.

Smell. A little bad, the floor make sound , the light it’s so strong , they need regularly and tv don’t have cable
