The place is infested with bed bugs. Our entire family got eaten alive by bed bugs. Due to the pandemic, they don't clean your rooms, give you extra towels, or will vacuum your room while you are out for the day. The breakfast consists of cereal and bagels. All the amenities are closed because they don't have the staff to clean and disinfect.

I had a reservation for a standard room with two queen beds. Upon arrival and checking in at 8 PM I was informed that there were no more rooms with two queen beds and the only room type available was a room with one king bed and a sleeper sofa. When I politely stated that my reservation was for two queen beds, I was told that using a third-party travel site does not guarantee the room type. Only booking through Hyatt guarantees room type availability. We were tired and made do, but this arrangement is not very comfortable for four adult people. Also, the hotel is situated by a major highway and the road noise is very noticeable, at least it was in the room we were in. Definitely disappointed in our stay.

Quiet area close to Capital Mall. Not a lot of restaurants close but hotel restaurant was fantastic! Staff was great!

Loved the location! Super close to the Mall and Metro. Great, friendly staff with exceptional service. We loved the fact that there was a laundry facility for guest use and the breakfast buffet was incredible! Will stay again.

I really thought the staff was great, hotel room was really clean and even if I slept in I would still come back to a clean room.. You know that fake smile or when somebody doesn’t really want to talk?? Well this place doesn’t give you that.. I can tell they meant it.. will tell everyone I know if they were going to stay in DC that is the hotel they should go to.

Very nice place to stay when touring Washington DC. Very close to the National Mall. We walked from the hotel to many sites we wanted to visit and took an Uber for some of the longer distances. Breakfast each morning was good and we ate a number of dinners in the hotel restaurant as well. Our room had a king size bed as well as a nice couch to relax and watch TV when we were in the room. Would definitely recommend to all.
