Room 321 is basically inside the "gentleman's club" next door. You feel you are un the club with dancers in the room with you. The sound of the techno music makes the walls, headboard, desk and drawers in the room, vibrate. Until 3 a.m. I sat in the lobby for most of the evening, since there were no other rooms available. Manager, (very polite, understanding, and receptive) did not charge me for the room, and moved us to different room, next day. HYATT PLACE IS ROBBING ANYONE WHO THEY PUT ROOM 321, OR 318.

I wasn’t happy that It was next to a gentleman’s club with my kids. No microwave in room. Overall it was a good stay

Tried to go to the roof bar on Sunday and it was closed. Our view was of a brick wall. Room was only cleaned once during a 7 day stretch. They say they only clean the rooms every three days. It’s next to a gentleman’s club. The park near the hotel has at least 100 homeless people sleeping there.

Really liked the lobby staff and the team at the roof top bar with the exception of the individual who checked us in - who asked me if I was "sure" I didn't want to take my wife for a drink at the strip club next door. Inappropriate IMHO. Other than that person who was nice otherwise, the rest of the staff - great. CONS: We stayed 3 nights and had no cleaning done in our room. Overall, it was clean on arrival. Three issues with the room, all solved promptly by staff when I called. Hair dryer and AC not working. Lamp on desk, not working. PROS: As noted above, - super staff overall. As for location, it a decent enough location within walking distance of 3 metro stations - with Farragut North and McPherson within 4 blocks, Metro Central, another 1/2 mile away. Very close to the White House (4 blocks). Breakfast included had a nice variety over multiple days. Rooftop bar a BIG plus at the end of a long day of touring. Closes early though (10:00 prompt), so plan accordingly!

Hotel was great! Right in the middle of everything! Front desk person was very nice, and always had a wave and a smile when we came and went😊 No pool though, that was a bummer.

location is good. it is closer to attractive areas and easy to access transportation Taxis, Metro and buses as well.
