I've had some very pleasant experiences with Embassy Suites. This Washington D.C. Georgetown location was just as pleasing. Great Hotel!

Wonderful stay, spacious clean room. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Happy Hour was a fun touch. Breakfast was really delicious especially the omelette bar- traveled with 3 kiddos who enjoyed themself and their stay as well-

I am a Marriott frequent user and this was my first time in a Hilton hotel. Not impressed. The hotel is beautiful, conveniently located, mostly clean. Cons: Check-in and check-out are very late and early, respectively, and the staff were not interested in letting me (with three kids in tow) check in even an hour early. The pool, which was the main reason I chose the hotel, was dirty. The water was murky and you could feel mysterious objects on the bottom with your feet (but not see them). I don't think I've ever seen such a dirty hotel pool. We stayed five days and only went to the pool once, and we clearly weren't the only ones - there were barely ever people there. The breakfast was okay - nothing spectacular, but enough option for everyone. The hotel does a great job of hiding small conveniences like the only staircase that can take you to the lobby (visitors are only supposed to use the three elevators, which predictably get very crowded and lines form) or the only water fountain where you can fill a bottle, instead of buying one for $3 from the reception desk. Overall, a decent enough stay, but I will not be returning.

Mice infestation! The first two days that we were at the apartment we were loving it. On the third evening, we saw one mouse and didn’t think a lot of it. We messaged the property manager and everyone went to bed. Got up to check something and saw it again, then we saw another, and then another. We tried scaring them off, moving garbage, nothing worked. Eventually, we just sat in the living room and watched them run around the kitchen and our children’s sleeping areas and could do nothing. In the morning, we tried calling and messaging the property manager after emailing him videos. We couldn’t get in contact with him at all. We called Vrbo, sent videos and were told that it constituted an infestation and they were going to move us. Finally get a text back from the property manager saying he would send someone over. We got back to the apartment and found two packs of unopened glue traps. We have tried contacting the property manager for days about a refund and he has never replied or answered any calls.
