Not as advertised!!!
We needed a place to pull off the road and get some sleep for a few hours. I wish we wouldn’t have stopped here. The attendant talked through a window and didn’t allow access to the lobby. This should have been my first red flag. After getting the room keys, we pulled around the building to find our room to find hookers and homeless people occupying the parking lot, stair ways, and apparently some of the rooms. The parking lot was not well lit and we were concerned about our vehicle getting broken into. Once to the room. The light switches didn’t work. The room had a smell and the floor was visibly dirty. The people in the room above us were either doing construction or constantly rearranging furniture all night!!! The air conditioner was extremely abrupt when turning on or off. The toilet didn’t flush the first time and you had to mess with the handle to get it to work. We skipped breakfast got the heck out of there! I absolutely would NOT stay here again.

Not horrible but probably wouldn’t stay there agai
I want to start by saying the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was great and the breakfast was worth it. I usually expect beach hotels to be a little run down and shabby but this one had some structural issues. There was a lot of rain while we were staying and at one point the window in the room started to leak. When I took a shower the floor underneath the tub was soft and I could feel it squish. The room was cleanish but when I pulled out the cabinet to plug in the coffee machine I could see that it hadn’t been cleaned.

A good stay- very quiet and clean
Just a couple 1. tub did not have a drain stopper. 2. Using hotels.com in the past, I was able to use apply my stay and gain points with the hotel chain, this time I wasn’t able to. Maybe I missed it, but is there message informing the possibility that points would not be honored by the hotel? Thanks
