Overpriced. Food and drink was very expensive for ordinary food. The staff and all personnel were very friendly, but I experienced a new young person at the conceirege desk that did not know the systems and was not qualified to serve in that capacity at a “high end resort.”

What a wonderful few days spent with my BFF!

The staff was amazing! Ben, our waiter at the Resturant in the lobby made us feel right at home and was so warm and kind, Emanuel, the waitress at he pool was a delight. The staff made us feel like we were truly on a vacation!! We stayed in a 3 RD floor room that gave us a fantastic view and we didn't have to have the hassle of going up and down he elevators! We had. 6th floor, on the other side and we couldn't keep the window open because the noise was too loud from the air conditioners. We were able to keep the windows open all night and the sheer curtains kept the mosquitos away. This was a short getaway, but extremely relaxing! Off season prices made this trip even sweeter! Oh and the skini Bikini is delicious! Perfect poolside drink that is light and refreshing! Loved, Loved, Loved this stay! Wasn't crowded either! If you are looking for a vacation, but don't have the time to go overseas, this is definitely worth it!

This is NO Waldorf!

Pros: location, beautiful property, great restaurants close
Cons: dirty, staff/service
Checked in with my wife and daughter for 3 night stay. Room was very nice and well appointed. We had a 1st floor room with outdoor sitting area. All the cushions on the 4 chairs were soaking wet and along with the floor, covered in bird droppings. I had to wipe down both tables, clean all the bird droppings from the ground and cushions and let the cushions dry before we could even use them on the 2nd day. Had a cockroach land on my wife's face during the night the 2nd evening, called the front desk to let them know what happened. No body ever called or came by to check if it was taken care of or if we were had any other issues. Wait at the restaurant was very long--had trouble getting waited on. Restaurant geared towards everyone ordering buffet, do so or it takes an hr. One morning someone who was not even a waiter had to take our order--of course it could not be entered into the computer until our waiter came out of the back, so did not do any good. Getting drinks and food at the beach was a complete worthless process. They were so overwelmed and understaffed, the lifeguard was helping set up chairs and umbrellas--guess he was multi-tasking! Overall the property is very nice with 3 small pools, but service was very underwelming. Everyone was nice and helpful, but very understaffed. This is a 5 star property, but 1 star service. Waldorf NYC is our favorite hotel--actually got engaged there--This is no Waldorf. Way better options just a few miles up the beach in Palm Beach County.

Fabulous hotel!

This hotel is an oasis all by itself! The location is perfect near the beach and several restaurants. The rooms are large, very well designed and CLEAN! We were there with friends and stayed for 2 nights and wish it would have been longer. The pool was great, the staff was very attentive and overall it was a fabulous stay!

Good value it is not.

The hotel is newly remodeled hence,very nice rooms, staff is attentive and lots of them as it should be with a hotel that caters to folks on vacation mostly. Location to the beach is great. That's where the five stars end. This is a hotel/beach club that is, it is also open for membership to the local residence in the area and provides beach and pool access for guest of the main Boca Resort. The 3 pools are small which makes them overly crowded, the food/beverage prices are very high - family of four at buffet style breakfast was $134.00, 2 soft drinks purchased on the beach $14.00. There is a $20 per day resort fee which covers 2 free bottled waters per day, wireless internet, fitness center, newspaper, shuttlebus, in room coffee, bellman services and unlimited local calls(i'm from out of town, who am I going to call locally?). So for my 5 days at the hotel that's $100 in resort fees for ""amenities"" that are included at most other hotels. Most everything listed as a hotel ""amenity"" is going to cost you - like a boogie board rental on the beach is $10 an hour. When you check in be sure to ask for a room that is not over the hotels loading dock or be prepared for the backup buzzers to awaken you like an unexpected early alarm clock. It will cost you an additional minimum $. a night to escape to the other side of the hotel away from the loading dock for ocean view rooms. Good value it is not.

Great Find!

Recently returned from a long weekend celebrating my birthday with a bunch of friends. The resort is on the beach and offers several pool options. We all took advantage of the spa and enjoyed a day of pampering...strongly recommend. Staff was friendly and eager to please. Will certainly consider this resort when traveling again. Shuttle between the beach club and main resort runs every 15 minutes and gives you access to all the resort has to offer. Restaurants are pricey but you can go into Delray or into town to find a variety of options and price points for your party!

New Beach Club is amazing!

This was my first time at the Beach Club and I can't wait to return! They recently re-opened after major renovations. Just walking into the lobby is a treat...what a view of the ocean! This hotel treated us like VIPs. We were upgraded to an amazing top floor ocean front room. The rooms are luxurious and absolutely beautiful. The floor to ceiling window opens up for a balcony-type view. The pools and beach are great too! Gym is good size with plenty of equipment to use. There are shuttles which go between the Boca Raton Resort (main resort) and the Beach Club about every 15 minutes. If you are looking for nightlife (Boca doesn't really have much), Delray Beach is a short 10 minute drive north. Staying at the Beach Club is pricey but if you're looking for a first class experience, then I highly recommend it. I can't really put into words how wonderful this resort is. You really have to experience it for yourself.
