The toilet did not work. I mean really! Why would you put people in a room with a toilet that was not functioning. So very disappointing. When we called to have maintenance come, they were not in until 8 in the morning and we had plans and needed to shower, etc. to leave. We had to go to the lobby to use the facilities. I mean really!

Booked a room with a balcony. When I got to the hotel to check in. They had no rooms with balconies. They were sold out. Even though I had already paid for a room with a balcony. They sold me a room they didn’t have. And when I asked the staff for help. They told me there wasn’t anything they could do. They were sold out of all rooms with balconies that day. So I was pretty much sold a room they did not have.

I appreciated the safe environment regarding COVID 19. I was, however, disappointed to find out that there was no room service for food. It is not safer to order from a nearby restaurant than it would have been to have room service in the hotel.

I love the proximity to Oak Brook Mall, and the color scheme of the lobby (cheerful earthy tones). What I did not like is the lighting. I understand it saves money to use the energy efficient bulbs, but is it not possible to use the better quality incandescent light bulbs in the bathroom? The LED lighting has a bad effect on skin tones, etc. I'm not the only one who complains about thisl
