1 night at the sleep inn

I stayed 1 night for my son navy graduation. Hotel is located close to base, walking distance to food and mini mart, fast shuttle to base. Rooms were good, comfortable beds but the shower head was horrible. Put out enough water to get you damp and had a heck of a time doing my hair.

Great value / nice facility

I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Having never stayed at a Sleep Inn, I wasn't sure what to expect, especially since I have some fairly bad experiences at other Comfort Inn brand hotels. Although it's rather hard to find, being tucked in behind a gas station and with only a very small sign at the highway, the hotel has a large porte-cochere and fairly nice lobby (for a budget hotel). I still don't understand why the place was so empty (only 6 or 7 rooms being used - maybe). Our room was surprisingly spacious and clean, with two double beds piled with four down pillows on each bed! Very, very comfortable... I really liked the sink being in the main room and the toilet/shower in a separate room. There was free WiFi and a nice flat panel TV with a smattering of cable channels. The window A/C unit was a tad noisy, but I've experienced far worse. Fortunately it was very effective at keeping the room cool. My biggest gripe was that the room did not have a fridge - not even one of those small cube fridges. ?!?!?!? Other than that, for the cost (less than $90/night including taxes and fees) I considerate this Sleep Inn to be a very good deal!
