Nothing fancy as the hotel is really old, but there is a pool, access to the beach, cold room, and hot shower. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. Definitely no frills, but we’d stay there again.

The access to the beach was excellent, just a back yard away. The hotel is in outdated conditions and a bit run down, in need of a huge upgrade. There was no hotel condiments in the room. Office clerk was nice.

Rooms had missing light bulbs and lights not working. Overall maintenance is horrible. No idea how clean, couldn’t see in the dark. Pool cloudy, no place to sit. Didn’t stay want full refund.

Water leaking from ceiling restroom, AC not working, Bed bugs on the back board of the bed. Word of advice If you considering booking a Motel/Hotel stay do yourself a favor and Please check the reviews first! Learned it the hard way and don't want anyone have to experience this. Book this motel stay ahead of time for the 4th of July from 7/3-7/5. We checked in on 7/3 to Room #103 to leave our stuff there and left to do some errands & when we came back to our room we notice our restroom floor wet from water leaking from the ceiling. I went to the office and talked to the front desk lady about the issue, all this young lady said (didn't get her name) the problem was that somebody upstairs above me over filled the tub and offer another room to stay even gave me the keys to check it out myself which we did. After moving all our stuff to our new room# 221 we left our stuff there and went swimming for a while and came home to a hot room I again went to the office to tell them about this new issue spoke to this lady name "Lalli" (not sure on the spelling) anyhow she offered to get a second fan from our previous room# 103 including a lamp cause our room didn't have one. All this happened on the first day! Anyways we Slept through the night. Hoping for a better tomorrow just looking forward for the Fourth of July celebration and fireworks with my family and didn't want to deal with anything else. July 4th- we get up in the morning to get our day started and as usual everything w

Water was constantly leaking from the ceiling in our bathroom.. It got all of our stuff wet.. Nobody was available to help since they were gone for the night

I liked the friendliness of the receptionist, being right on the beach and their willingness to change our room due to poor condition of the first room. But I didn't like that the next room had a whole in the bathroom wall and a large crack in the door. And there is a terrible odor coming from behind the microfridge. There are some more issues that need attention that repair, upgrade and restoration can fix.

had a blackout 2 hours after check-in. power was out for about 5 hours. we checked out and they gave us a full refund.

On the beach

So you get what you pay for when it comes to this hotel. I can tell you the views were gorgeous, walking distance to the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. To get down to it, the ammenities are scarce with this hotel, no hair dryer, no iron, water damage, black mold on the vents, thin walls and not so sure about the cleaning staff. The bed was comfy, smelled a little like dry rot (could've been the wall). Still, we enjoyed our time there.

Never Again

Pros: That it was on the beach, and right next to a restaurant, and the view of the Lexington.
Cons: EVERYTHING!!!!!! Needs to be torn down and rebuilt!!!!!
Location: Location is great, its on North Beach, enough said.
Me and the family were really looking forward to staying at this hotel because its on the beach and right next to a great restaurant (Fajitaville) but when we opened the door we were left speechless. Everything is so old looking and worn down, the beds had no bounce, the floor was half carpet and vinyl tile and being that close to the ocean everything seems like its wet, you literally had to keep your shoes or flip flops on till you actually got into bed. It had free WI-FI or so we thought, they gave me the password and I tried it and it wouldn't connect so I called the front desk from my personal phone because the room didn't come with a phone, so anyways the guy tells me well sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and most of the time IT DOSEN"T WORK!!! I like trying different hotels when we go to Corpus and I"ve stayed in so so many over the years and this hotel was the first time and the last time, NEVER AGAIN.
