i refused the room and cancelled checking in. staff was very nice and helpful. hotel was under construction, dumpy, stuffy, and generally unpleasant.

The key system didn’t work so we had to be escorted to our room every time which was annoying, there is no swim up bar so don’t listen to Travelocity on that. It just wasn’t what I expected for what I paid for I know not to book here again!!!

Like: It was on the Beach. It was close to where we were going to a wedding. Disliked: The tub drain was broken would not hold water for a bath. The sink drain was also broken. It would not close up and when you used the water it was a slow water drain down and out the sink. There was not ventilation fan working such as when one took a crap there was no way to rid the room of the foul aroma. In other words it stunk. We have stayed at better Holiday Inns, Best Western Motels that were a lot better.

Firstly, of course, the property is not as nice as photographs. The rooms don’t cool properly, the floors are filthy, and towels are dingy. Secondly, front desk staff has poor accountability, and failed to help rectify over charges. I was double-charged for rooms I did not use. I called and spoke to a front desk agent on the day of booking after realizing I’d booked for the wrong date. He confirmed that the rooms had been canceled, and booked for correct date, yet I still received charges for hotel rooms that I wasn’t even in the city for. When asked to speak to manager Gloria to correct the situation, she said there was nothing she could do, and to simply dispute it.
