Wake up to the sunrise on the front balcony looking out over the ocean. Relax after a day at the beach, pool and activities watching the sunset over Galveston Bay from the back balcony.

Located on the 2nd floor

It is located in the highly sought after Pointe West Resort on the West End of Galveston Beach. Beautifully decorated with a coastal flare, wonderfully maintained, and accommodates 7-9 guests.

This condo has all the benefits of the Pointe West Beach Club. Nice areas to eat and call in food to be delivered.

The Beach is just a walk away. Pools and A room for children. The master bedroom has a king bed in it, a very roomy bathroom. Wonderful views. The second bedroom is a queen bed, Third bedroom has bunk beds one Twin and bottom is a full size bed. This Condo has all the peaceful comforts of home, with amazing views that will make you wanna just stand there and gaze for a long time. The master bathroom is very roomy, double sinks and nice shower. Kitchen is very roomy and nice. Just sit on the balcony and enjoy the view.

Cancellation: Guest receives 100% (Of what was paid minus the cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 90 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (Of what was paid minus cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds.

Pointe West Beach Club

Spend a wonderful day at the pool or beach at the luxurious Pointe West Beach Club. Pointe West offers numerous amenities including, infinity pool, children's pool, lazy river (which will be heated in the Fall of 2021), fitness center, gift shop, and restaurant. The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, (3 years or older) beginning March 1, 2021 year round. The use of the Beach Club is optional. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.

The community is easily walk-able. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts dune buggies, or any other types are vehicles are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

Beautiful View and Location - Condo Lacking
The overall location and amenities of this condo are bar none! Access to two pool areas and a private beach within walking distance was amazing. My family also was able to fish at the fishing pier and the county park which was a hop, skip and jump away. The overall cleanliness and appeal of the condo was lacking. I spent the first night there cleaning myself and everyday was a new discovery. Dirty doors and door handles, dirty windowsills and baseboards, burrs in the couch and master bath rugs, stained furniture and couch pillow. Many of the room doors and walls had been gauged or damaged and it was very apparent where repairs had been attempted. Additionally, the dishwasher was not secure and when opened, the entire unit tipped forward. Comparing to other condos I have stayed at in Pointe West this one also lacked in the areas of usable cooking pans and having access to chairs, etc. for beach use. What was offered was very minimal. When I contacted both the host I was simply told they would let the cleaning staff know. I attempted to contact the rental company several times by both email and phone and was only able to finally reach them on the last day of our stay. I would stay at Pointe West again, just not this specific unit.

Awesome Beach Club; Awesome unit; unresponsive property management
Loved the beach club. Toes in the Sand unit nicely appointed and spacious. Awesome view of the ocean. Plunging the toilet the whole time - and getting no response to 3 requests for assistance left us dissatisfied. Fire alarms starting at 4:30 A.M. the last day and not turning off for hours was a very unhappy last day. We know some things are uncontrollable, but we expect after sending 3 requests, the property manager would respond to a plugged toilet. We didn't ask for help with the hundreds of flying gnats in kitchen and bath- but went and bought traps from hardware ourselves due to unresponsive property manager. I rarely post a bad review. This would have been a 5* review - but the lack of property management response and assistance dropped the score - it was only fair. Happy 40th Anniversary.

Great Stay!
The property was beautiful and quiet. The beach was clean and not crowded and just steps away from the condo. The beach club at Point West was nice but was lacking in some areas. The lazy river is not at all a river but just a big pool that has a island in the middle and a current that takes you around it. Nice, but not what was advertised. The restaurant had pretty good food and wait staff was nice. The pool area had no umbrellas by the lounges NONE!! Big problem for myself and fair skinned niece!! The only other thing they need to correct is a concierge. There was none. I had to get an outside concierge service to get a canopy and chairs down to the beach for us and that was very expensive. All in all it was a great time and a beautiful place and I would stay there again. These are the things I feel they need to work on. Thanks!

We arrived in the evening after office hours (post 6 pm) so had to wait until the following day to check in, get gate codes, etc. I chose this property because it had an elevator. My husband is handicapped so it was necessary. I even contacted the owner to inquire about the elevator and was advised there was an elevator. I guess I should have specified "working elevator" since we were not advised, and didn't find out until we arrived, the elevator was not working. My son and I had to carry luggage and supplies for six people up 2 flights of stairs. My husband eventually made it up the stairs but was then confined to the condo. Upon checking in at the office the following day, they eventually admitted the elevator had been out of service for quite some time and said they were waiting on a part. We were happy to see repairmen working on the elevator when we headed out later that day and were relieved to see it was working upon our return. We rushed in to tell my husband the good news, which meant he could leave the apartment and go to dinner with us. When we returned from dinner two of the kids went ahead while the rest of us followed. The elevator wasn't working when we tried it and we then realized the 2 kids were stuck. They were obviously quite distraught and by the time the 911 operator got me to the right group for Galveston, my son had run up the stairs and pried the door open to get them out. I contacted the after hours emergency number to report the issue and they assured me they would get the report to the office right away. The following day we were on our way to the beach when we ran into a maintainence man who was shocked to learn the elevator had stopped working and trapped the kids. He said he was never advised there was an issue and that he's been "restarting" the elevator every day. So we had a working elevator for two days, then on the day we left, we began to gather suitcases, coolers, and boxes of food and supplies to load up the cars. Surprise!, but not really, the elevator was back to not working. So we got to repeat everything we did on day one and drag it all down 2 flight of stairs. I attempted to call the office, however the recording I received stated the office hours are 9am to 6pm. It was 8:30am so we were out of luck. It is inconceivable to me that a property of the size and scope of Point West does not have a way to resolve issues after hours. I shudder to think what would happen if there were a fire or something that

Make sure you have long toes!!!
I get one week off a year and decided to invite my mother to join our family to a week in Galveston. When I did my search, I filtered for an elevator since my mother is elderly and is unable to use stairs. When we arrived, the elevator was out of order. The out of order sign was laminated, which tells me that either it has been up for a while and/or is used frequently. When we called to address it, nobody answered and the voicemail was full and not accepting messages. My mother was unable stay with us. Moreover, we had to carry all of our belonging for a week stay up four flights of stairs. I think it is irresponsible to not disclose such a vital amenity in the listing being out of order and not have a way to contact anyone. I would have left if I felt there was a vehicle to get my money back. Aside from the building being a good distance from the beach, the boardwalk that is used to access the beach has stairs on each end. If you plan to use a wagon, be prepared to carry it up and down stairs each way. I think that four flights of stairs and more to get to the beach is far from toes in the sand. The unit was clean and internet was good. Those are my only compliments about my stay.

Perfect condo and beautiful ocean view!
We stayed through Coastal Waves and loved how they communicated with us before and put our beach club bands in the unit for us since we arrived after hours. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Location on the property, ocean front and easily walkable to beach club. Kitchen was perfect for cooking.
