The best part was the location. For the price wifi should have been included. The hotel was over priced for not having any offerings. Not worth it

I was surprised to find out the property was out of pool towels while we were there. I was going to go back upstairs to the hotel room and just get the room towels to use at the pool, but by that time, my kids didn't want to go swimming anymore. I never thought a Marriott would run out of towels.

The staff and the room were wonderful but I didn’t appreciate being charged $5 for room service when it turned out to be having a bag of packaged food shoved in my face at the door of my room, including plastic silverware and food in cardboard boxes. The untraditional form of room service should have been explained to me when I placed the order. Also the rooms were not soundproof and we were awakened several times by talking in adjacent rooms in the night

Nice hotel near UCSD

We were there for a college visit to UCSD and the location was great. I thought the room was a bit overpriced for what you got and when you add parking and wifi charges it was even worse. They switched our room from 2 queen beds to 1 king and a roll out and the roll out was very uncomfortable.
