The location was fantastic for walking to Universal Studios. The Spa was closed and the rooms had recently been redone, but the plugs wouldn't hold a charger for some reason. The wifi was not great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was safe and convenient

The hotel was not walking distance to universal…looked like work was being done to hotel. Parking was the worst. 25.00 charge for a shared parking spot which we were blocked in by another customer who couldn’t be located right away. The hotel was nice enough to refund us our parking fee.

STAY AWAY! The convenient location of this hotel is just NOT worth it. When we first arrived and walked into the lobby we weren’t even greeted! There was a cleaning lady that was about to vacuum the lobby and rolled her eyes at us. The girl helping us check in was rude and unpleasant. The check in lobby is extremely small. We went up to our room and I had a bad feeling about it. It could have been cleaned better but it was ok. The bed wasn’t the best and I didn’t even want to step a foot in that shower. All night right above us, banging. Sounded like someone was running back and fourth all night. And the walls are paper thin, we could hear some lady laughing/crying also all night. It was horrible. I couldn’t sleep. We checked out at 7am. It was the absolute worst hotel stay we have had. Please, spend the extra money a night. You won’t regret a thing, I promise. We are staying at the Marriott for the rest of our stay, such a HUGE difference.

We weren’t a big fan of the hotel. The lobby was very pretty, as well as the hallways. The staff was friendly. The room itself was ok, the restroom light kept flicking, and the shower was like in a jet setting so it was hurt you a little bit. The view was not pleasant at all, it was a view of a homeless community. We had went out all day, and asked housekeeping to please make our room, and when we came back it was not made at all, the 2 nights we were there, they didn’t bother cleaning up the room.
