A Flea Bag of a Hotel/Motel

Pros: Absolutely Nothing.
Cons: The building needs to be torn down, rebuilt, and supplied with new Management.
Location: Inglewood has two things. The Forum, and it's close to the airport. Nothing else.
The parking lot is small. Part of it had a pallet of used beds that were filthy, disgusting, and gross. The lobby is dark, dreary and grim. Besides the cost of the rooms, they ding you with a $100 deposit for "Incidentals". What incidentals ? They have nothing. I was so disgusted with the building, the surroundings, and the employees, I didn't even stay there. It was like a smelly armpit. DON'T STAY HERE. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT !

Great Price

We chose this hotel due to the great price. Since it was a lower price, our expectations weren't that high. We got checked in with no problem. Our room was much nicer than what we expected from viewing the exterior of the place. I will warn though, the breakfast left much to the imagination. All it was was oatmeal and vending machine pastries. We ate that one day but never went back. They also keep the breakfast room locked, even during the breakfast time, so we didn't like having to ask to be let in. Overall it was good if you're looking for something cheap

Room

Pros: Nothing, could have gotten better for the rate.
Cons: Appearance, room presentation.
Location: next best of neighborhoods
Fairly near to airport; dingy, white towels with dark stains. Stale pastries.

No frills, but an ok place to crash.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
I went to LA for a weekend and planned to be out and about pretty much the whole time. Basically all I was looking for was a clean place to sleep, shower, and lock up my luggage, and I got that. The staff was nice when I interacted with them, and they let me check in early, so they were cool. The room was clean, which was all I was really concerned about. It was very basic: a bed, two nightstands, a dresser, a dining table with two chairs, a TV, and a standard bathroom. The TV had like 6 stations, so go elsewhere if you're a big TV-watcher. There was a heating/AC unit, and it kept the place very cool. They offer a free continental breakfast, which I didn't partake in, but it's there if you want it. The place is about 10 minutes from LAX, less than 5 minutes to I-405, there's a plaza with a Target nearby if you need anything, and there are tons of restaurants nearby, mostly fast food. Try Bertha's Famous Soul Food down the street, it's AMAZING. My only complaint is that I had to get my keycard re-magnetized at the front desk 3 or 4 times, which was a little annoying. Other than that, no complaints. If you're the type who's scared of "bad" neighborhoods then you might not like the area, but all the locals I interacted with were nothing but nice. But at the end of the day, you drive out of the lot into the Los Angeles "ghetto". I found the area charming, but more suburban types might think it's low-rent. I definitely didn't feel unsafe at any time, so I wouldn't stress it. One thing that some might find disturbing is that there are low planes flying by frequently, coming in for landing at LAX. I grew up near an airport myself, so I'm used to it, but others might not like that. I'd recommend this place IFFFF you just want a place to sleep and don't want to spend a lot on your hotel. If you're looking for a hotel "experience" find another option. There's no pool, no room service, no restaurant or lounge....i mean, it's an Econo Lodge. It's clean and there's free breakfast if you want it. It's like 15-20 minutes to Venice Beach where I spent most of my time. There's a casino about a block away if you're into that, and it's right by the Forum if you're in town for a game. So it's a good spot, it's just basic.

Spacious and clean room

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
Overall the hotel room was good. However, parking was a pain because the distance between rows was short. Note the parking problem that I experienced might not be representative of all locations

Take your money elsewhere

There is no office, merely a glass partition to register. Need I say more? The room was dirty, our one hand towel had something crusty all over one side, the room was partially through a remodel with the looks that that was as far as it was going to get and the neighborhood was terible with sirens going by at last every hour all night long and a very loud fight in the parking lot at 1 a.m. Do not waste your money on this place unless you are desperate.
