The common area/hall carpets were very dirty/large stains. The elevator seemed unsafe and would jolt loudly when going up. The room itself was even worst. My first room had made beds, but the towels were half folded, and one towel was on the shower bar and the shower mat was already on the floor. There was trash in the trash cans, and bottle caps, wrappers and receipts on the night stand and table. The carpet was not swept and nasty. The second room I moved to had folded towels at least but it was evident the carpets were not vacuumed and crumbs and debris. The shower was pretty bad. I didn't have a TV remote that worked the first night. I tried to get out of night 2 as soon as I checked late on night one, but Expedia was no help, claiming they couldn't get ahold of the front desk, so I was forced to stay night 2 as well, as I refused to pay for 2 hotels for night 2. I didnt even request money back, just wanted to not have to stay a second night as soon as I checked in, but Expedia couldn't help blaming the hotel. All around horrible travel experience. Pay the extra money and go Marriot or Hilton.
