Very service with untrained staff
The front desk team need serious training. They are rude, arrogant and know nothing about customer service . Nothing is explained to customers upon arrival . Sam and Frederick were helpful. First room was filthy . Rooms was not made up on the second day of my stay . Room was dirty and HK came up at 8pm to make up tte room after complaining . Security staff are unfriendly and not welcoming. I will not recommend this hotel. Very disappointing.

I must say the staff are very nice. Unfortunately, our room was a glorified box. It felt like someone had a large closet at the end of the hall and thought, we can make a room out of this. Oh, and the worst part was the HVAC fan. Every time it kicked off it sounded like a 747 taking off over our heads. Kept waking us up. Location is very good. Close to cruise ship port. One nice part is that very close by (1 minute walk) is a great Peruvian restaurant called Pollos & Jarras. One other annoying part is that there are two elevators and it probably needs 3 or 4. Be prepared to wait a long time before being able to go up or down. Elevators are almost always full. Very frustrating generally and almost maddening if you are in a hurry. Best I can say is that if you need a one-night stay before a cruise I suppose it is tolerable, but don’t expect much.

What was tops for us was the location. Walked to bayside marketplace which is much more than shops. Restruants, marina, tours, outdoor music - a real hub of activity. Park is nearby too. We got a deluxe double bed on top floor. Room was huge and made to party. The views from some rooms can be great overlooking the bay but our view really sucked. Food was good with huge portions. Free drink coupons too. Definitely recommend.

I was early due to flight after waiting 4 1/2 hours I were told I could check in an hour early for $35. No towels in room. Tub faucet broken and comes off when turning on the water. Curtain ragged and torn, carpet jumbled and full of paint.. Regardless of prime location prices are too high for these type of things. I had my heart set on this being my Miami home. Now I’m not so sure.
