Very disorganized. Arrived earlier and the room was not ready. Front desk told me it should be ready within 30 minutes. I went for lunch, went out shopping, came back past 4pm and when I asked for my my room key, ai was told my room was still not ready. Also, with the resort fee, a welcoming champagne glass was included, but I was never offered anything. Not even water.

I’ve stayed here many times but the condition of the hotel has declined significantly. Pool area: They more recently updated the dining area, which is poolside. However, there’s much to do around the pool area. You see chips in the stone foundation of the pool and grout work that is missing. The poolside servers were kind and responsive! Room: Awful, you can visibly see grime and dirt built up on the tile. There were crystals missing from the chandelier in the bathroom, as well as above the table. our Fossett in the bathroom was extremely loose where you could rotate the base all the way around- I brought that to the attention of the front desk and they sent a maintenance man up. He tightened it but left debris and dirt all over the bathroom floor. The shower tile had scammer remaining. - not good! Lighting was extremely dim, mirrors are tinted so there is no mirror where you can see yourself clearly to apply makeup, no available plugs to plug in a curling iron and do your hair. Conclusion: it is not what it once was and it’s not where I’ll ever return.

This is the first time back for us post covid. The standard and upkeep of the Mondrian has gone down terribly. The rooms are disgusting in terms of cleanliness - sofas and carpets were stained badly. We had to move rooms - the second one was only marginally better. Maintenance standards are very poor. This historically was a really cool property when it first opened. The staff seem to have given up. The reception manager seemed non plussed re our feedback, as if she’d heard the complaints so many times before

It was okay, not as nice as it used to be
The maintenance needs help and the overnight staff at the front desk needs to be trained on how to handle paying customers requests when their room is uninhabitable because there is a hole in the wall and the fire alarm is hanging off of it. The floor and table were dusty and everything looked very used and damaged. The remodeling of the lobby needs to extend to remodeling the rooms because they look dated and also need to be fully cleaned. The daytime staff while extremely busy, were incredibly helpful and I am very grateful they were able to resolve my room issue even if a second room was not available and we had to use one suite. The daybed waitresses were very professional. Area is quiet and convenient.
