We stayed in a cute one bedroom cottage unit surrounded by beautiful foliage and nestled in a quiet forested setting. The breakfast was fantastic and was delivered piping hot to our room in a lovely basket and included freshly brewed coffee. It was a very nice stay. The floors were dirty, but otherwise the unit was very clean and fresh. There was a lovely garden area with gazebo and seating and very nice walking paths. The place is a little too far from dining for us. We had to drive several miles to Redding for dinner since most of the closer restaurants just did not seem very appealing. But, overall, the Inn at Shasta Lake is a very relaxing, pleasant place to stay and offers a much better than average breakfast.

Dear Susie, Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. We are very sorry that you found the floors dirty. We do a very thorough job cleaning but since we are in nature sometimes some debris comes in. If you had mentioned this during your stay we would have gladly corrected the situation. We have restaurants within 3-6 miles distance and we provide a list of those in a folder in our rooms. These include nice places like bridge bay cookhouse, old mill eatery, basshole brewery, pizza factory, la fogata etc etc. We will also implement more stringernt checks regarding clean floors. We hope you will visit again. Regards

Nicest B&B I've ever stayed at.

The Inn was perfect. Everything from the check in to check out was a great experience. The room was great and the breakfast they served was the best I ever had. On a scale of 1 to 10 this place was a 20.

Pros: Very clean, modern. B&B, Location very private
Cons: To make the rooms a little bigger???
Location: Visit Shasta Dam
Very Plesant owner, very helpful with recommendation on restaurants & places to go for day trips & hikes. Location is very private. Very very nice, clean, modern B&B, breakfast was excellent, my only comment ; the room is very small & feels crowded. I still highly recommend this place.

Rustic Beauty in the Forest

Pros: Setting, upgraded bathrooms. Very very comfortable beds.
Cons: Satellite channels could be I proved in what is offered.
Location: Hiking, boating, exploring and generally any outdoor sports. Or just a place to rest.
This place is a winner! Style is "woodsy" with many upgrades. Completely renovated and very clean. The setting is in the forest by Shasta. For hikers and bike enthusiasts as well as water sports it is loaded with convenience and character. Has a nice "bed and breakfast" quality. It in a rustic woodsy setting. We will definitely go back here. Quiet although there is a little highway noise on the west side....but all the other attributed more than make up for it. Could have a bit better assortment of satellite stations however. Enjoyed it immensely.
