Easy access to highways with gas station close. Plenty of food options. Staff was helpful, but we didn't stay long enough to enjoy the amenities.

For starters, my check in at the front desk did not go smoothly at all. Apparently there was some glitch in their system, or communication problem between the Hyatt and Travelocity, and the women working the desk was unable to issue my hotel keys at first, due to a problem with my “payment not going through”, which was ridiculous, because I encountered no issues myself when booking the reservation online through Travelocity. It took numerous phone calls to her supervisor, with me standing there in the lobby looking incredulous, while feeling utterly exhausted after spending hours on the road. She admitted she was a new employee and I sympathized with her, as she was very sweet and had a wonderful demeanor. That said, it was not the check-in experience I expected after taking the time to research the hotel and book in advance through Travelocity. She admitted the hotel occasionally had problems with bookings through third parties, like Travelocity. Seriously? I thought the whole point of booking through Travelocity was to ensure a seamless experience. After several awkward minutes, she was able to give me my room keys, but I was left feeling unnerved about the whole experience. My room was super small — even for one person. There was no microwave in the room, which is a standard for the majority of hotels. I paid $150 for this room (via Travelocity) thinking it would be a better experience than average — not so. Lesson learned. In my mind, wasted money.

We are very sorry for the unfortunate length of time spent in waiting for your room and the issues experienced. This is not a typical stay at our property. We can not speak for the experience you under went using third party booking. However, if you give us another shot we will be glad to improve previous impression.

I changed my travel plans to stay here again. Super clean, and NEW building. Even smelled new. The staff were super kind and friendly. Loved the large grassy area out back for dogs, very dog friendly. Loved the location, it was quiet yet convenient.
