The room was very small. The biggest issue however was the issues with the power. The main lamp, tv, fridge and kurieg were all plugged into a power strip. If you tried to use the kureig, it would shut off on its own. Then if you tried again it would trip the power strip off. I ended up unplugging the strip and plugging the kureig in by itself. So then you have no lamp or tv. The room also needs a chair or an additional night stand. The sink didn’t drain either. We had to pull the drain catch out. Then there’s a light that flashes behind the tv that lights up the whole room all night. Basically, the room needs more furniture and the power needs to be addressed. And an additional trash can would be nice as well.

The room along with the bathroom were clean and set up nicely. We got in late and the hotel provided us with a code for convenient entry to the property. We stayed for a quick family weekend and found the hotel in a perfect location. However, when we arrived to our room we found a baby cockroach in the bathroom alive and crawling around. Not a huge drawback but something to note.

Gives "wrong dimension" vibes but decent
If you don't like technology or expect hospitality - this is not the place for you. The experience starts several days before where you are hounded to check in virtually. Once you finally agree, you are faced with a complex check in where they expect a full face scan as well as your first born child (just kidding about the second part). You will most likely see no one at the hotel when you arrive - so if you have any issues with check in good luck. There is no typical front desk and there is an eerie quiet about the place. At first it completely creeped me out but it did grow on me. The plants and landscaping is lovely and it's clean, quiet and the rooms are decent especially for the extremely cheap price. There's also a fancy japanese restaurant hidden away near the front desk that seems like a great place to take someone on a date. I'm not sure if it would be my first choice if I returned to Scottsdale but it's certainly the best you could possibly get on a budget.
