Enjoyed a lovely view overloking the pool and Banderas Bay. Hotel went above and got me a mini-fridge for my meds. Taxi to Malecon or Rio Cuale 100 - 125 pesos. Only con, were the low toilets, which for a person with bad knees and back, resulted in much pain. Otherwise, there were elevators and ramps for those who need wheelchairs. No pool or beach access for those in a wheelchair. Lovely place.

This property is very run down! The rooms are really in need of a facelift. The beds were terribly hard as were the pillows. The grounds are very well maintained. Staff was hit or miss. Some were great but most just didn't seem to care about you. The bartender at the pool bar was great and kept your drink filled. The food choices were poor. Only 3 specialty restaurants, but good luck getting a reservation. The buffet was not good. Most of the food was repeated and was lukewarm at best. The Japanese restaurant was the best. I've been going to Mexico all-inclusive resorts for 25 years, and this was by far my worst experience. I would not return.

We did not know that the Villas across the street are now part of condo del sol. Our room was across the street from main lobby. There were pros and cons. The rooms all need a bit updating, the halls and plants all looked amazing. There was no hot water a couple days. There was a smoke alarm that was beeping the entire week just needing a new battery. The staff were all very friendly. Ceviche bar was very good!! Other restaurants were ok. The beach is pretty rocky most days, but we did enjoy the pools.

Loved the pool area. The room could use some repairs (taps) and the maid, rather than change the bedding, flipped the pillows so that the mascara stain was not visible. There was sand in my sheets for 3 days.
