Beautiful grounds with peacocks. Professional and courteous staff each one of them, however room probably not cleaned or mopped daily as my feet were so dirty from being barefoot in room. Buffet food just warm and pastries were stale. Lots of mosquitoes coming from bathroom made our stay so uncomfortable and itchy. Never experienced this at any other hotels. Bring your insect repellent for this stay. The room’s phone did not work, we were promised room would be fumigated and it never happened. Others also complained about mosquitoes in their room. Prepare for timeshare/ vacation club sales pitches. Excellent Entertainment and very lively.

I really liked all the dining options. The only thing I did not like was the room was really musty smelling and the bathtub was really nice but did not work nor had hot water running to it.

Wonderful resort! Staff was excellent especially housekeepers and bar truck on the beach! Did not like the fact that when reservations were made, king size bed was part of the reservation and ended up with two twin beds. Absolutely unacceptable and was not ever made right.

I have been to the Princess several times in the last 25 years. The place has always been a ten. Especially the employees. But we treat people like their family sooooo consider that. There needs to be an Adult only area

Upon arrival, staff was not friendly at all. Acted as if they were doing me a favor just by checking me in. The room was as far away from beach as possible while still being on the property. The mini bar had partially used drinks that were not replaced throughout the stay. The bathtub looked lovely but had brown dirt on it. After the second day of the dirt not being cleaned I rubbed it down with a towel and it came right off so it was definitely not being cleaned. Obviously I didn’t use it and was glad I didn’t want to since I noticed that it had no hot water going to it, I couldn’t even get it to warm up just to rinse the tub. On a positive note, the flamingos and peacocks were fun to watch and the beach was well kept with pleasant staff.

Gran Bávaro Princess is an amazing hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is very good. The grounds are gorgeous. The beach is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.
