Not a fan of the hydrotherapy circuit at the spa as they move you around like an assembly line. Not used to that as I thought I would have more time. Felt like I was on the clock. Bear in mind, I understood the need for it. Other than that near perfect resort.

The good - staff was very helpful and nice. Nice pool and lounge chairs, although you need to put a towel down very early to have one. Ocean was rough which prevented swimming (seems to be the norm) but the sound of the plunging surf made for awesome relaxation. the weather in February was really nice. The resort itself was nice - lots of marble and nice wooden architecture. The less than good...food was marginal at best. The breakfast buffet had good eggs / omelettes to order, although two mornings there was a little mold on the shredded cheese. We ate dinner on the resort two nights- Agave, the Mexican restaurant, was a two star experience and Ches Isabelle, the French Restaurant, was ok. The other nights we went to the "blue mall" for dinner the other nights. Evening entertainment was a bit cheesy, but they definitely put out the effort. The resort gets an A for the Super Bowl - great set up for that...Although the buffet food was....marginal. The rooms had a large soaking tub which was one of the highlights. After showering, I noticed a slight sulfur smell. Not too bad. The resort is about 50 minutes from Punta Cana. Other than the aforementioned "Blue Mall," I wouldn't recommend exploring the town itself.

Nice upscale adult only all-inclusive resort. Staff is outstanding in all areas from check-in, servers, housekeeping, entertainment, groundskeepers...all outstanding. The resort was not over-crowded. No problem getting a terrific ocean-side chaise lounge or perfect pool-side place for the day. No waiting in line for drinks at the several bars or for dinners in the restaurants. This place is great!
