First of all, I've been coming to your resort since 2009. My very, very favorite place on earth. Your staff is beautiful, Edwin. Our Butler was the very best, very, very hospitable, very professional, very sweet and kind. I want him when I come back next year. Also, Francesca, our maid was over the top With service, our towels are cleanliness. This property is a second home to me. Keep it up. You guys are doing a great job. The property and beach are amazing. The rooms are dated and in need of some repairs. The air conditioning barely work and need major improvements with a dehumidifier system. The beds were very uncomfortable. The cabanas needed repairs , with one ready to collapse. The food was not very good, but you could always find something to eat,so you won't starve.Staff is amazing and the grounds are beautifully kept.

This is our forth visit to DR and third time staying at the Majestic Resorts. First time was at Colonial, second time we got married at Elegance (moved from Colonial due to Covid in 21) and then this visit Feb 7-14. Our other time going we thought we'd try somewhere different (Riu Republica) and that only turned into regret for not going back to the Majestic Resorts. We are partial to the Club Side swimup rooms. Club includes a Butler which is nice for helping set up dinner plans and helping with anything room wise you may need. We generally tip him decent at the start of the trip and again later. This time we had Henry and he was great! Weve also had Yefferson and he is awesome! Rooms are nice, cleaned daily and fridge restocked. We leave a tip ($3 daily) and some candies for the maid service. The beach this trip was the best we've seen it out of all our visits. No seaweed this time around. Prior we've went in Sept and May 2x. This time of year is definitely more cooler in the evenings than the prior times weve went. It was refreshing. Dont let the weather apps scare you, ours showed a bunch of rain and it only rained a little. Mostly overnight. Grounds are beautiful. Crew is constantly working on it. Drinks are yummy. My favorite is the Majestic. Hubby loves XV, Sprite & Lime. July at the swimup bar was great. Lots of food options. Love the view at the Sea Side restaurant. This visit we felt like the food was the best we've had when there. Relax & enjoy at the best

The absolute best beach in all of DR was at the resort! So clear and clean we were there everyday! There was plenty of chairs by the beach and pools. The rooms could use some upgrading the style is old but they are very large! Plenty of food options on the resort our favorite were Le gourmet, the Japanese resturaunt and the sports bar grill. We appreciated all the amenities and activities on the resort. Staff was great. The night shows were good as well. The drinks seemed watered down however it took a LOT to feel tipsy and I am usually a light weight. Overall I felt safe and would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

I took my 18 yo daughter for a bday/grad gift. We had an amazing time! I highly recommend the colonial club side as it has some nice perks, a separate cafe, butler, nicer check in, separate pool/beach area. Don’t think it would make a huge difference all around though. The resort is beautiful and well maintained with fountains everywhere. The pool is huge and beautiful, albeit a bit cold. Beach is amazing. Bars everywhere and strong, well made drinks. The bartender Domingo was spectacular!! And Wander at the beach bar was a blast. The food was very good. Lots of choices and recognizable! Decent steak and lobster, lots of fresh fruit and salads, sushi which was fresh. Our butler made reservations for us at the nicer restaurants and they were great, but the others were good too. Our butler Luis was incredible and checked in everyday via text. So kind and helpful, had champagne and wine delivered to our room. A . The housekeeping staff speaks only Spanish, and I only English, but they were all so sweet. They smile and nod, and if you can get them to figure out what you want, you’re good. The spa was very nice, had a great facial, my daughter a well done manicure. The entertainment was so fun. We enjoyed it every night, had some great laughs. A special shout out to Jose and Melvin who treated us so kind! Jose had us dancing every night! They went out of their way to make it a great vacation for us. Can’t say enough nice things about this place and will definitely be back!

My husband and I came to Majestic Colonial in Nov 2024 for our honeymoon. We were promised certain amenities upon showing our marriage certificate- welcome banner, room decorations, romantic dinner at the beach… etc. Unfortunately, we did not receive the above until inquiring about it days into our trip. Furthermore, when we showed up for the romantic beach dinner, the staff had no idea what we were talking about. The grounds were quite beautiful, but the food and service were average at best. You get what you pay for in that respect considering a 7 day 6 nt trip was only about 3K (including airfare) maybe a little less. Overall, our stay was a 3/5 and we made the best of it.

Excellent staff, very clean, beautiful bars really great place overall would come back! Always something going on during day & at night. Only thing is the French restaurant wasn’t good. But seafood/steak restaurant on beach was great! Breakfast & lunch buffets great options !
