I usually never leave reviews, however, I would have like to of known this prior to booking the reseravation. The hotel, meals, staff was all excellent. The beach is aweful! You can not swim in the ocean bc it has sharp rocks/boulders throughout the entire front of the hotel. There is however a very nice sandy lagoon off to the left of the resort. They do not tell you about this lagoon, we found it on day 3 of our vacation. The only other complaint I have is that they mix your drinks VERY strong! Im sure others wont concider this a downfall, however, i would like to rememebr my days past noon. Besides those 2 things everything else way fantastic. They have awesome shows at night as well

This was our second trip to this resort and it is an amazing place! A couple of things that drop the rating. It's next to impossible to get the mini fridge stocked. It took 3 days to get bottled water. The staff is very friendly. However, the H10 sales people will not leave you alone. Our first trip, we spent the entire week walking out of our way to avoid them. The second trip, we decided to talk to them so we wouldn't have to spend the week avoiding them. We made it very clear we weren't interested in purchasing anything but wanted the voucher for the free excursion that was being offered (which we never received). We finally agreed to give them 30 minutes. We left the lobby with a "representative" that was very rude and two-faced. In front of her boss and co-workers, she was all smiles, polite, and professional. When we were alone, she was rude and told us we were wasting her time. On our ride to the presentation, she was texting and handed her phone to a coworker the minute we arrived for the presentation. She was very fake, unprofessional, and wore clothing that was popping at the seams. We listened to the "spill" until they gave us the absolutely ridiculous price. We told them we weren't interested and asked for our voucher. Everyone acted like they had never heard of the voucher that was promised by multiple people. The resort is great but these sales people bring down the overall rating.

Fantastic property, Fernando the Butler was amazing and Emmanuel at the Privilege Beach was a super star, both take pride in all they do and go out of their way for guests.

The level of service we received from this property was disgusting. I have been to many resort in the DR over the years and have never experienced something like this. The front seat was disrespectful to both me and my guest before we got on the property. On the other hand the resort itself was very very nice. However, i will not be coming back to this resort. Ever.

THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL BUT SOME AREAS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION.THE BEACH IS HORRIBLE! THERE IS NOT ENOUGH STAFF WORKING AND THE STAFF THEY HAVE ARE WORKING SO MANY HOURS THAT THEY ARE ALWAYS IN A BAD MOOD AND YOU DON'T GET A GOOD SERVICE FROM THEM.THE FRONT DESK GUY 'FRANKLYN' WAS AN ASSHOLE ALWAYS WITH AN ATTITUDE AND SAYING THAT MY KIDS WERE GOING TO DESTROY THE RECEPTION AREA EVEN BEFORE GETTING IN THE HOTEL JUST BECAUSE THEY MOVED A CHAIR.LONG WAITING TIME TO EAT AT THE RESTAURANTS.FOOD WAS GOOD.DRINKS WERE BAD.THIS IS NOT A 5 STARS HOTEL I WILL GIVE THEM 2 STARS! THE MINI CLUB FOR THE KIDS WAS WONDERFUL! THEY LOVED IT! ROOM WAS CLEAN AND WITH A NICE POOL VIEW. I THINK THIS WILL BE A GREAT HOTEL WITH A BETTER ADMINISTRATION ONCE THE FINISH CONSTRUCTION AND BEACH AREA GET CLEAN UP! I'VE BEEN IN DIFFERENT RESORTS BUT THIS ONE WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE! WE STAYED FOR 7 DAYS AND EACH DAY WE HAD AN ISSUE! TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!

We loved the Dominican people. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beach was relaxing and had an amazing breeze. The pools and restaurants were well cared for and clean as were the rooms. The kids loved the lazy river . If you are worried about the DR don’t be -but you must worry about what you do to yourself - Do not go overboard with food or drink because if you were to this anywhere you go you will end up with an upset tummy. Use your intelligence and logic and have a great vacation as we did when we stayed at Ocean El Faro and remember nothing is perfect be patient and kind and you will get this in return.
