Paid parking was a surprise. The pool was small and other guests were playing a boom box. This made using the pool uncomfortable.

A safe, clean, and friendly environment are the main objectives of any hotel stay and this place double checks all of those boxes. Can’t say enough about the positive and inviting attitude of all the staff. Like most of DC the surrounding area contains all of life’s elements but the hotel is situated on such a manner that you always feel safe entering and exiting. The decor is mostly modern and stylish with a few older yet fully functional and clean furniture items within the rooms. The rooms and bathrooms clean and inviting. You don’t have access to room service, but the hotel restaurant does offer takeout and the food is excellent whether you dine in or take out. I will certainly recommend the Cambria DC to friends and family.

Pool had to much Bromide and unbeknownst to me I had a little scratch on my foot. When I put my foot in the pool It started to burn and I had to immediately rinse my foot off. I ended up with a red, swollen area on my foot that took about 4 days to go away. My kids went in the pool one time for about 10 min and said it hurt their eyes too much and wouldn’t use the pool again. We picked the Cambria to stay on because of the pool and didn’t get to use it. We arrived very late the 1st night and had a king room with a sofa bed (registered for 4 staying in room), sofa bed was broken and we had to switch rooms at 1am in morning after we had already partially unpacked. Bedding for sofa bed was scratchy and pilled.

The neighborhood was sketchy and staff warned us not to venture out at night. Our tv was broken and I ended up with some kind of bites on my body after the first night. The walls must have been made of paper because we could literally hear our neighbors on both sides all night long, crying babies loud laughing, talking and activities... we will not stay here again
